Who votes at the ABM election?

• Members of the current National Governing Board (one electoral vote each).
• Current Local Chapter Presidents (one to eight electoral votes, depending on the number of REALTOR® members as of September 1).
• Members-at-large (one electoral vote each).

How do I get credentialed?

Voting delegates get credentialed when they check in the morning of the ABM (check-in is 8:30 - 9:20 a.m.) by presenting their full fee-paid NAR or WCR Conference badge. Volunteers match the badge to the list of eligible delegates and issue a ballot.

What if I can't be there to vote?

Local chapter presidents may assign their vote(s) in writing to another current chapter member (REALTOR® or REALTOR-Associates® only). State chapter presidents may assign, in writing, voting rights to another state chapter officer. The designated alternates must meet all the qualifications on the form and must bring the form to the ABM and present it during the check-in process. No other officers may assign their voting privileges.
