Make the Most of Your Membership with Our Referral Network

by Anita T. Davis

Since I first became a member of Women's Council in 1995, I have sent or received referrals from Arizona, California, Michigan, Florida, Nevada, New York, North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia, Texas, Alabama, Louisiana and within my own state of Maryland. These are only the states I can think of off the top of my head.

Needless to say, one of the most valuable benefits of my membership in Women's Council has been the referral network. On WCR.org, the Member Expertise Profile gives each member an opportunity to tout their skills and advertise their market.

Have you taken the time to maximize your membership through this free opportunity? It takes 10 minutes of your time and one downloadable photo. Once your profile is complete, thousands of top REALTORS® across the U.S. will be able to click through and read all about the next person who gets our referral business. Why shouldn’t it be you?

With our mobile site, finding a member has been made easier than ever. Picture this. You're at a listing appointment, and you ask the sellers where they’re moving and you say, "Oh, I'm sure there is someone in my network who can help you find your next home there." Out comes your phone and poof, they are so impressed that you just secured that listing and took one step closer to collecting a referral check. The only ones who can do that are Women's Council members.

The Member Expertise Profile is your free ticket to business. This is just one tool among many available to every member that comes as part of your Women’s Council membership. Throughout the year, the national line officers will be using this blog to discuss and highlight the many benefits available to all. We hope you take advantage of all these tools to help plan, organize and increase your business. Just remember, I'll see you on the web at wcr.org.
