Our History

The WCR Tri-Cities Chapter was chartered in 1993 under the leadership of Bill Aboumrad. Since then we have had Sharon Lucero, Sharon Swanton, Donna Whipple, Carol Liberty, Jan Prevost, Mike Riley, Arti Miglani, Cathy Spencer, Lu Jayo, John Juarez, Pamela Ellis,Cynthia Chiasson,Teresa DeAnda, and Michele Taylor leading the chapter over the years.

Fremont hosts one of the 13 California Missions that is a historic landmark in the Mission San Jose district. It has one of the most desirable Community Colleges called Ohlone College. The Niles area of Fremont, was the Hollywood of California in 1936 and was the studio site for the famous Charlie Chaplin shows. The historical hotel used by the industry is preserved as an historical building.
