Women's Council of Realtors 2024
Welcome to a Successful 2024!
First and foremost, we want to thank our 2023 President Mindy Rovillo and 2020-2021 Past President Katherine Sakkis for their contiunued support. With their guidance and leadership examples, stepping into leadership felt easy.
For those who were at our 2024 Board Installation in November, President Charmaine asked all the Past Presidents to share a word/thought as they passed the gavel. As I reflected on that moment, I considered their words of wisdom and experience as our 2024 Board worked to plan this upcoming year. We are excited!
Based on your feedback and our mission of “advancing women as business leaders in the industry and the communities we serve”, we have (4) Pillars of Success planned which will educate and inspire us all as we continue to grow as Leaders.
We began by planning outstanding events, based on the four pillars of Women’s Council: Education, Networking, Leadership, and Referrals.
Pillar I – Navigating the Legal Noise in the Real Estate Industry
Pillar II – Fair Housing – Leading the Way
Pillar III – Leaders Who Inspire
Pillar IV – Commercial Landscape
Each Pillar event will be followed by Lunch & Learns in various topics around these pillars, allowing more intimate conversations around these important areas in our industry.
Women’s Council Tampa’s market area is a three-county area, Hillsborough, Pinellas and Pasco Counties. We will be having both structure and informal events that will be hosted by our members or Strategic Partners. Each month we make an effort to be in our different counties.
We have continued our partnership with the Greater Tampa Realtor Association as part of The Real Estate for All Alliance (REFAA) This will be a collaboration of all the association’s ancillary institutes, councils, and societies. We will be joining them for various educational events and networking, specifically supporting fair housing and diversity issues.
We will continue to offer top-industry-related programming to keep you up to date on the latest information you need to succeed.
