2019 Elections

2019 President Elect Candidates:

DIANE BACON

I am a licensed Associate Broker at Howard Hanna Pittsford, but began as Nothnagle Rookie of the year and knew how important it was to become involved. I have dedicated three years to serving on the Board of The REALTORS Charitable Foundation and am also Chair of the Collective Heart committee of The REALTORS® Charitable Foundation. During that time, I have been responsible for the Collective Heart Luncheon (usually October 31 at the Rochester Riverside Convention Center), and have raised hundreds of thousands toward the homeless in our community, and the committee has increased from 3 members to an enthusiastic 11! . I am also a member and sponsor of RPAC including their March madness event.

Recently, the current Women’s Council secretary stepped away to pursue other opportunities, and I agreed to step in and serve on the Governing Board. Since I have already been involved with the Fall Fundraiser, Golf Scramble, and Program Committees for multiple years, I felt confident that I could serve on the Governing Board and meet the responsibilities that entails.

I live in Pittsford with my husband David, three children - Alex, Katherine, Nate, and our dog Jenny. Just recently my aunt Marilyn moved in with us as well! I grew up in Rochester, attended Aquinas, and then went to Loyola University of Chicago. After working at the Chicago Board of Trade, I returned to Rochester. I love being a realtor and I especially love the way Women’s Council helps realtors connect, network and truly support each other! We are a vibrant community and the Women’s Council is such an important part of that. We help to make new realtors feel welcome and provide opportunities for growth and education as well as to strengthen our profession as realtors--not just locally but nationally. As president-elect of The Women’s Council of REALTORS®, I will continue that mission and promote our growth. I hope you will choose me to be your next President-elect!
