Redlining, Realtors, & the Road Forward

A panel of experts share with us the causes of institutional proverty created by government housing regulations, actions currently being taken within our community to reduce proverty through development of programs for housing, education, health, wellness, and jobs, and avenues for Realtors to be actively involved in the fight against poverty.   The panelists are:

Shane Wiegand, Educator, discussing "Redlining, and the Role of Systemic Government Segregation"

Larry Knox, the Political Action Coordinator 1199 SEIU on "Paying a Sustainable Wage"

LaShunda Leslie Smith, Executive Director of Connected Communities, Rochester on "Affordable Housing."

A catered lunch will be served following the program.
