1031 Tax Exchanges: The Role of the Real Estate Professional

This is a 2-hour course that will satisfy 3 elective credits.  The student will gain an understanding of the rules governing 1031 tax-deferred property exchanges, recognize and evaluate solutions in which a 1031 exchange could be to a client's advantage, and lastly, learn how to properly involve and work with intermediaries and other experts to successfully structure the transaction to conclusion.
