The Time is Now: Become a National Volunteer in 2026

The moment has arrived! As you peruse this article, you’re undoubtedly a dedicated leader of the Women’s Council, eager to contribute to the Real Estate Industry all while refining your own leadership capabilities. I’m here to guide you through the steps of becoming involved on the national level with Women’s Council. While 2026 may seem distant, NOW is the ideal time to begin laying the groundwork.

 

Leadership Identification and Development Process of Women’s Council of REALTORS®

The Leadership Identification & Development (LID) volunteer application period is now open through June 13, 2025. You must begin by filling out the volunteer application, which will be sent to staff and disseminated to appropriate state leaders. Appointments will be made starting in early fall for 2026.

Opportunities include (but are not limited to): Social media ambassadors, conference ambassadors, trade show booth volunteers, inspiration/pledge speakers at national meetings, election volunteers, project teams, Finance & Budget committee, Opportunity & Growth committee, Technology & Investment Committee, Mastermind Chairs and Network 360 Leadership Conference faculty. We continually refine national volunteer opportunities, and we encourage members to go through the LID process for volunteer openings that are yet unforeseen.

 

The process to get involved at NAR

The 2026 NAR committee application website is now open through May 15. Because NAR values your involvement at Women’s Council, you will want to highlight this experience, as well as your PMN designation, as you go through the application process. It is essential that you also take the time to get recommendations for the positions you are seeking. We encourage all interested members to get started immediately.
