by Kim Morris

Still on a roll after all those fantastic meetings in Orlando? Well, let’s have another insightful introduction to one of our strategic partners: RE/MAX.

Here at Women’s Council, we strive to advance women as business leaders in the industry and in the communities we serve. Likewise, RE/MAX advances a mission of ceaselessly supporting entrepreneurship for all. This partnership has multitudes of opportunities for Women’s Council members.

“We saw sponsoring organizations like Women’s Council of REALTORS® as a way to put our values into action,” says Shawna Gilbert, RE/MAX Vice President of Global Development. “From a brand point of view, we want it to be crystal clear that our financial support means we support Women’s Council’s mission to make homeownership accessible to everyone.”

RE/MAX partners with many industry advocacy groups that promote diversity, inclusion, fair housing, and sustainable homeownership. These partnerships include providing financial support to drive their partners’ missions forward. RE/MAX also participates in educational and training workshops at local and national events, policy meeting, and much more.

“Being involved is also a part of RE/MAX culture,”Shawna says. “Our agents regularly hold local, state, and national leadership positions in a variety of industry associations. These are the organizations that are guiding policy and setting the tone of the industry.”
