Stark County

As I continue my Presidency from 2020 into 2021, I can only say that very few times in life do we get an actual "do over"!  We took the threat of COVID 19 very seriously.  Unfortunately, we lost a very vibrant and past leader, Mary Foraker, on Christmas Eve from this terrible disease.  It came upon her very suddenly, despite her apparent good health and her loss was felt by everyone.  Her loyalty and commitment to WCR as an active member is a testament to the cammraderie we share with each other and the value we derive from being involved.  We are thinking of Mary as we move on to 2021 and will keep her in our thoughts.
We made great progess in 2020 despite the difficulties with the shut downs, social distancing and lack of personal networking in 2020.  We are staying focused on our strategic plan and member benefits designed for 2020 and 2021 alike.  We've put together a "package" of $150 value for all national members which can only be realized through participation!  With this plan in place, all national members and local Strategic Partners can enjoy a bymbiotic relationship to keep our chapter growing, strong and relevant!
The excitement for this decade with WCR is palpable within our chapter and we will strive to keep the momentum going.  We have a great blend of old & new ideas, voices, opinions and goals.  Not only can this plan serve the newer members, but can also bring to the table those policies and procedures that have continuously successful in the past.  We have leaders guiding leaders and generational expectations blending into an effective cohesive unit.
Whatever we can do to train future leaders, become a good role-model for them, and show our solidarity to our peer, the industry and other chapter, we will find a way to do so.  After all, we ARE WCR and as a group, there are no limits to what we can do!
I look forward to being the leader who opens a new decade and am truly blessed to be a part of this organization!

2020 & 2021 Stark County President
