Edition 31 - 2021 | October 27, 2021

Note, this edition of Roadmap is for 2021 network leaders and is being distributed to the six leadership team members who were reported to National.

Network Leaders:
Dues Renewals Are Coming!

Dues renewals are scheduled to be sent next week (November 1st).

Everything you need to know as a Network leader about renewals:

Who will receive a dues renewal email?
Every member that expires on December 31, 2021, will receive a dues renewal email. This should include all second-year members and beyond. Any new member who joined in 2021 that needs to pay 2nd-year prorated dues for 2022 (those who joined between February 1, 2021, and August 31, 2021) will be invoiced 60-days prior to their expiration/join date in a separate future communication. This is when all members show up on the “Not Yet Renewed” report until they complete their renewal. When a member logs into their member profile on wcr.org and clicks on ‘Subscriptions’ they can see their expiration date.

What if I signed up for auto-renew last year?
Due to the technical complexities of a multiple layered dues structure, auto-renewals have been permanently disabled. You must manually renew your dues, even if you signed up for auto-renewal last year. We will inform you when this feature is re-enabled in future renewal years.

Should I renew right away?
Yes! All members who renew in advance of the December deadline will receive a free safety app (SafeShowings: a $50 value) as well as discount coupon codes from our saving center so that you can take advantage of your dues ROI immediately.

How do I renew dues?
Simply log in with your credentials and your invoice is in under your member profile. Paper invoices will also be mailed to each member at the mailing address on file and will be received by November (note, invoices can also be downloaded and printed out via the member profile and mailed to National, if you wish to renew in this manner – please allow for additional processing time).  While the data has already been pulled for this marketing effort, this is ultimately a good time for networks to remind their members to update their mailing addresses and contact information in their member profiles.

I have a question – who do I contact?
For renewal assistance, it is best to send an email to wcr@wcr.org (or use our chat feature).  These inquiries are tracked and assigned a ticket number to ensure prompt follow-up.  While you can also call our national headquarters, we prefer email to ensure quality control and efficient follow-up.

As a local network leader, how can I assist in the renewal effort?
National coordinates the deployment of electronic and paper renewals communications, but members often look to the local network as their first point of contact, and it is the local network where the member experience's the best value proposition.

Remind your members to renew their dues right away and communicate any incentives or benefits at the local or state level that would entice them to renew before the December 31, 2021 deadline.

As a reminder, you can find many graphics and renewal benefits on wcr.org.
