This newsletter is intended for 2021 leaders of Women's Council. This important information should be read thoroughly and shared with your local members as needed.

Edition 33 - 2021 | November 17, 2021

Note, from now thru early January, both 2021 and 2022 network leadership teams (reported to National) will be included in the Roadmap newsletter distribution lists. In early January, only 2022 network leaders (reported to National) will receive the Roadmap newsletter.  Regardless of distribution, all newsletters are archived here. We recommend bookmarking this page.

This Thanksgiving Season, the national staff and leaders would like to express our gratitude for the outstanding work leaders have done in 2021 to create great momentum for 2022 leaders!

A 2021 accomplishments document can be viewed on our website. The integral linchpin and secret sauce of Women's Council's success are the local and state networks, an unparalleled volunteer-driven network structure that is the envy of the REALTOR® family.

WE ARE THANKFUL FOR OFFICERS PASSING THE BATON
With approved bylaws changes on August 30th, we are grateful for the 2021 and 2022 leaders' coordination and collaboration in "passing the baton".  Guidelines on passing the baton were done via a great workshop held by our National Liaisons in September (view recording) along with a follow-up transition workshop (view recording).

While terms officially end on November 16th, the remainder of the year should be spent transitioning. Installations will still be held. Treasurers will need to complete the fiscal year while laying plans to transition important items such as account signatories. Outgoing Presidents will finish out leading programs they initiated during their official term. Teamwork is essential to transitioning. The relatively quiet time between Thanksgiving and the New Year can be spent passing the baton. Note, National will update microsites in and around the Thanksgiving holidays, with new officers input no later than the first week of December.

WE ARE THANKFUL FOR NEW MEMBER RECRUITMENT AND WINNING BACK MEMBERS
At the end of this year, Women's Council will have recruited or recaptured 4,000 members, an amazing comeback. As a reminder and in case you missed it, through December 31st we are running a campaign called "Each One, Reach One" where new officers are challenged with recruiting just ONE new member by year's end. Special incentives include complimentary membership for the remainder of 2021 and exclusive online holiday shopping gift codes.  Special Canva images are available to run this campaign locally. This is also a great time to organize a calendar of events, programs and activities that show value at the local levels.

WE ARE THANKFUL FOR YOUR MEMBERSHIP RENEWAL
Invoices are in your member profile and we are already reporting robust renewals. Before the busy holiday season kicks into high gear, we encourage you to renew and remind your local members to do the same.

Members who renew by January 1, 2022 will receive a complimentary SafeShowings app, a proactive safety tool that has a $50 value. Renewing members are provided easy download and set-up instructions to get you started, but this is an exclusive offer only available to members who renew by year-end.

  • Busy and don't have time? It should take 60 seconds. A Florida network leader says the following: "Super easy and I was able to pay from my mobile phone. I love that my credit card is on file too. It took me less than 60 seconds!"

  • Do you have a question? Contact staff at wcr@wcr.org. We will get back to you in 24 hours. We can call you for payment over the phone.

  • Want to pay by check? All members will receive a mailed invoice. Additionally, customized QR codes will link directly to your profile, so that you can pay online.
