About Me

Originally from Chicago, Illinois, I have also lived in Arizona and Iowa before moving to Victoria, TX in 1997. I moved to Corpus Christi, TX in March 2000. I have an Associates of Accounting & Business Administration (1997), as well as a Bachelor of Science in Accounting (2008 - graduated Summa Sum Laude) from AIB College Of Business in Des Moines, Iowa (now part of the University of Iowa system) Go Hawkeyes! I’m a single father of three that I share custody of week on week off. I am a frequent Caribbean cruiser on Royal Caribbean as well as a scuba diver. 

I’ve been in the real estate since October 2013. Was the 2023 President of the Corpus Christi Association of REALTORS®️ (CCAR) - now called Coastal Bend Association of REALTORS®️ (as of summer 2025). TREPAC Major Investor (Sustaining Golden R Hall of Fame).  Currently Texas REALTORS®️ Political Involvement Committee (PIC) for Region 11 (North). Also a Texas REALTORS®️ Director for CCAR/CBAOR. I currently hold the following certifications & designations: GRI, CIPS, AHWD, C2EX, MRP, PSA, RSPS, and I’m a 2019 TRLP Graduate. I have previous served on the following Texas REALTORS®️ committees: MLS & Technology, Public Policy-Taxation, and currently serve on the Global Committee. With CCAR/CBAOR, I’ve served on the following committees: Finance, GA, TREPAC, Foundation & Outreach, Walk with Pride Foundation, & MLS. I was appointed and currently serving as a South Texas MLS Finance Committee member for remainder of 2025.

I also own a tax practice (full-time) called Blanchard Tax, Inc. where I specialize in tax preparation, IRS Problem Resolution, and bookkeeping. I’m federally licensed as an Enrolled Agent (EA) and Certified Tax Resolution Specialist (CTRS). I’ve been in the tax industry since Feb. 2000. I’m a former police officer with the City of Victoria, Texas prior to moving to Corpus Christi, TX.
