Renewals Extended by One Month!

Due to the coronavirus situation and initial delay in dues deployment last year, we are extending renewals by one month (until May 1, 2020).  Some additional renewal efforts:

  • As outlined in a communication last week, Women’s Council is working with a telemarketing firm to contact members who are scheduled to lapse soon to remind them of dues renewal.  A final paper invoice to unpaid members will be sent in early April.

  • One more electronic “final notice” invoice will be sent to unpaid members in mid-April.

  • As a reminder, not yet renewed reports are fully operational and data shows in real-time.

Unpaid Local/State Leadership Team Members Can No Longer Hold Office After May 1

An important reminder on renewals for local and state leadership team members: Currently, nearly 30% of local/state leadership team members (400 officers) nationwide have not yet renewed dues. If dues are not current by the drop date (May 1st), membership will be automatically dropped and deactivated, and your leadership position will become vacant since you will no longer meet the qualifications to hold office (membership in good standing) per the local/state bylaws and the affiliation agreement. There is no ability to extend your membership or make exceptions after the drop date. Additionally, Network President-elects who do not renew by May 1st will not receive an invitation for the Network 360 Leadership Conference in August. There are no exceptions for state and local officers to the May 1st drop date. Renewals can be completed via the following means:

  • Four electronic notices were sent to you since December 14. Please use one of the links contained in them to make a payment online.

  • If you would like to pay by check, a mailed invoice was sent in February and a final invoice will be mailed in mid-April. 

  • Send an invoice request to wcr@wcr.org and we will manually send you a customized invoice within 24 hours.

  • Call the dues hotline at 800-245-8512. Leave a message with your contact information, and we will call you back in 24 hours to take credit card information over the phone.

Virtual Events for You and Your Members

At the national level, we were able to "touch" over 1,000 members in one week in engagements with virtual events. Eight events are scheduled this week including book clubs, yoga, happy hour, mastermind, referrals, Realtor Spin, crises, and leadership. You can view dates and times on our virtual events calendar.  Can’t make the live events? Most are recorded and appear days later. Local and state networks are also filling up their calendars in an equally robust fashion.

Local & State Networks: Please Complete Survey on Virtual Strategies

National has built a robust virtual events offering that has been successful. Local and state networks are also implementing similar strategies. We’d like to learn more about what you are doing. Please fill out this survey this week. Survey results and findings will be shared in the coming weeks so that networks can learn from each other.

Wednesday Zoom at Noon -- Leadership Identification and Development: Who, What, When, Where and Why

We realize that your leadership journey has been strained this past month with global events. The road map is designed to assist you with the journey and tasks to perform. This is a friendly reminder that we are nearly a month through the Leadership Identification and Development process and applications for 2021 are due on June 1st. It is our job as leaders to describe the opportunity to members and make them aware of the process. Join national leaders Sylvia Seabolt and Chris Lee for a Zoom call on Wednesday, April 1st, 12:00 – 1:00 pm Central that will walk you through the process and the who, what, when where and why.  Register and let your audiences know as appropriate. Local Networks: Check Your Microsite For New Member Application

Last week, customized new member PDF e-brochures were inserted into your microsite under “network documents”. These applications contain your customized network logo and pre-filled local, state and national dues amounts. They can be printed out or filled out using the form-fill feature. These replace the old print brochure. This is just another tool for you to promote new members in your local market area.
