Dues Renewals Are Coming!
Everything you need to know as a Network leader about renewals:
Who will receive a dues renewal email? Every member that expires on December 31, 2020, will receive a dues renewal email. This should include all second-year members and beyond. Any new member who joined in 2020 that needs to pay 2nd year prorated dues for 2021 will be invoiced 60-days prior to their expiration date in a separate communication. When a member logs into their member profile on wcr.org they can see their expiration date.
What if I signed up for auto-renew? If you've already clicked auto-renew in your member profile on wcr.org, we will charge you the discounted dues amount on December 31, 2020. You will receive a renewal notification via email.
Are there incentives to renew early? Yes! A 10% discount for national dues is applied for all renewals until December 1, 2020. This discount is only on national dues, your local & state dues will not be impacted. Everyone that renews by December 1, 2020, is eligible for the discount, there is no coupon code needed.
Will it be easy for members to renew dues? Yes! A step by step renewal email will be deployed today (October 30, 2020), walking through the steps of renewing membership dues for 2021. There will be a 'Renew' button on wcr.org where members can start the new self-service renewal process. If questions arise, they can contact us on our new wcr.org chat feature, or by phone (800.285.2955) or email firstname.lastname@example.org. Please allow a response time of one business day via email or phone.
Can I track my renewing members? Not yet. With the new self-service functionality for member renewals, reports will follow slightly behind in December.
As a local network leader, how can I assist in the renewal effort? National coordinates the deployment of renewals communications, but members look to the local network as the first point of contact, and it is the local network where the member experience's the best value proposition.
Remind your members to renew their dues and communicate any incentives or benefits at the local or state level that would entice them to renew before the December 31, 2020 deadline.
