Fall Dates to Remember
September 22: Passing the Baton - Part 2: Transition Timeline Workshop
After a highly successful Passing the Baton: Part 1, all 2021 and 2022 network leadership team members are encouraged to attend this follow-up Part 2 event. Part 1 provided a solid base and overview. In part 2, you will roll up your sleeves and go over a complimentary worksheet, ensuring that the baton is effectively passed. We do this to set up 2022 leaders for success and cement 2021 leaders' legacies. Now more than ever in rapidly changing environments, passing the baton is critical to the long-term success of networks. Attendees who attend both sessions live (or listen to the recording) will receive a badge, certifying them at Women's Council as a leader skilled and trained at handling transitions.
September 28: National Conference Premier Advance Rate Ends
The Premier Advance Rate discount ends for the National Conference on September 28. Registration prices will go up by $50 on September 29 for all registration types.
September 30: Deadline for Dues Changes
Do you have dues changes for 2022? National must be notified by September 30th and the Network Dues Change form must be filled out along with approval notification.
Women’s Council policy is that for any dues changes for the following year, we must be notified using the correct form by September 30th. No changes are accepted outside of that timeframe or with informal notices that do not use the correct form.
October 1: Network Certification Application Deadline
Women’s Council Network certification recognizes and rewards the most active local and state networks that achieve five key benchmarks of network excellence and exceeds basic charter requirements per its national affiliation and provides outstanding member service. Recordings on this opportunity are available by visiting the certification page. The application deadline is October 1, 2021, so you will want to get to work on the program right away.

October 15: 2022 Officer Reports Deadline
2022 officers must be reported to National via the Jotforms below by October 15th. Officers who don’t report by the deadline will lead to outdated information on Network websites in 2022.
Note, when any officer changes in your network this form should be filled out. National can only accept submissions using the forms below and not via telephone or email.

October 26: Microsite Training Webinar
We want our Network Admins to the microsites to be successful - So annually we offer Network Microsite Training to get you ready for the task of maintaining your network microsite. This webinar will give you an in-depth training on how to maintain your network microsite as well as an overview of tools to assist you. Anyone who is a Network Microsite Admin should attend this important training.
October 31: New Member Nudge Program Ends
Women’s Council average daily new member count has increased by 35% since the new member nudge program started on September 1st. This program runs until October 31st and is a great way to give prospective members a “nudge” to join by offering several bonus items never seen before, like complimentary membership through 2021, and easy signup for brand new benefits, like Home Depot ProExtra and the jaw-dropping 12% Ace Hardware discount, which brings a quick ROI on dues. Networks are using the Canva templates to custom-design localized membership drives. Is your network participating in the new member nudge? November 15: 2022 Affiliation Agreements Due
All networks are required to complete a local or state Affiliation Agreement annually. Please submit your 2022 Affiliation Agreement by November 15.
