UPCOMING IMPORTANT EVENTS

MARK YOUR CALENDAR – UPCOMING NETWORK TRAINING SESSIONS ON RETENTION AND RECRUITMENT

Recruitment and Retention. The first task as 2021 leaders is to retain and recruit members. Our National Liaisons will walk you through comprehensive training, including practical tips, success stories, tools to repurpose and use, navigating COVID concerns, and understanding reports and how to use them. Leadership teams are encouraged to attend both sessions, and we will untangle it all for you.

We are sharing these timely tools so you can encourage network renewals in the final 60-day stretch, recruit new members year-round, and maintain a vibrant and successful network. Sessions are free, but pre-registration is required. Attend both sessions to receive a Women’s Council Retention and Recruiting badge!

RENEWAL TOOLS FOR NETWORKS

As noted in last week's Roadmap, Rosters and Not-Yet-Renewed Reports are fully functional and available for use on your microsite. These tools are key for you to obtain current member lists and renew members in this crucial renewal cycle.

Thank you to Women's Council Alameda County (CA) for an instructional video showing dues renewal steps using the self-service feature. Please share this video with any members that need to renew.

MAILING CHECKS TO NATIONAL OFFICES AND PROCESSING TIME

Note, when checks are sent to National, please allow for extra processing time due to slow postal service and limited staffing at the NAR headquarters. If members who sent checks still appear on the not-yet-renewed report, it means we have not yet received the check.

NETWORK GUIDEBOOK AND GLOSSARY

The Leadership Policy and Procedure Manual is being transformed into the Network Glossary and Guidebook, a digital resource designed to assist network leaders in finding information in a quick and organized format. A master PDF document under Network Tools provides key high-level information including key 2021 dates, strategic framework, history, and staff contact information. The online glossary is more detailed and is designed to assist you in quickly finding key resources and information. Check these pages frequently for updates.  Having trouble locating a form, document, or resource? Contact wcr@wcr.org to assist and troubleshoot.
