This newsletter is intended for 2020 leaders of Women's Council. This important information should be read thoroughly and shared with your local members as needed.
Edition 6-2020 | February 28, 2020
3rd dues renewal notice was sent on 2/27 and 2/28. The third round of invoices was sent to all unpaid members on Thursday, February 27th and Friday, February 28th. All unpaid members will receive a customized link with a proforma invoice that requires the member to enter the username* and password. Note, if a member wishes to receive their customized link or if the message is in their spam folder, please contact email@example.com (subject line: Dues Invoice Request), and we can re-send the customized link.
*The username is the email address on file. The member may be required to set up a new password. Dues renewals must be done from a desktop and not a mobile device.
Renewal tools for local networks at your fingertips. In case you missed it, last week’s road map newsletter outlines the numerous tools National has developed to assist with renewals.
To recap and remind:
‘Not Yet Renewed’ reports are live and fully operational and work in real-time.
We have developed customized templated emails so that you can reach out to members who have not yet renewed. Since the third round of invoices was just deployed, now is a great time to deploy that message from the local network.
We can custom-make PDF renewal forms (and new member forms) with your Network logo and pre-filled dues amounts.
The 2020 #LeadersMadeHere awards program in May will recognize network excellence in recruitment and retention.
Onboarding for New Members
When a new member joins your network, an automatic email is generated from firstname.lastname@example.org to the President and Director of Membership advising of the new member and contact information. Additionally, a newsletter is deployed from National to new members highlighting National benefits. A copy of this newsletter can be viewed online.
Leadership Identification and Development Process opens in March
Women’s Council is a business leadership organization, and it is our goal to develop business leaders on all levels of the organization and to contribute to your success. Consider getting involved nationally as part of your leadership journey. Visit the Volunteer Town Square to view national opportunities. In this link is a 30-minute webinar, and application. The volunteer application deadline for 2021 is May 1st. Depending on which local Network a member belongs to, applications will then go to your state leadership, RVP, or Governor along with the National headquarters staff. Appointments will be made in June for 2021. Opportunities include (but are not limited to): liaison positions to NAR, finance & budget committee, project teams, leadership academy faculty, inspiration/pledge speakers at national meetings, election volunteers, trade show booth volunteers, and meeting ambassadors. Please forward these links to your members and advise them of the opportunities and application process. Thank you!
