Hello everyone,

I am excited and honored to be representing you as the 2022-2023 President of the Women's Council of Realtors Silicon Valley Network!

Being part of the Women's Council of Realtors is an excellent way to increase professionalism in the real estate industry, develop our leadership skills, and support each other as we build our businesses and careers. My goal is to help the Silicon Valley Network grow into a group that our members will be proud of and that anyone connected to real estate will want to be part of.

The history of the Women's Council of Realtors is significant and defines who its members are today. This organization was forged by female trailblazers who refused to settle for the status quo. When the Women's Council of Realtors was created, women were not allowed to earn commissions from selling property and were barred from membership in many local REALTOR® associations.

In November 1938, at the annual REALTOR® convention, 37 brave women from nine states banded together to form a "Women's Divison." This humble Division morphed into today's Women's Council of Realtors, a nationwide network of 12,000 of the best and brightest real estate professionals in the business. The backbone of the Women's Council of Realtors is its network of more than 250 local and state networks in nearly 40 states. We have 1,200 elected officers that drive over 1,500 programs a year focusing on building business leaders.

As a plaintiff's trial lawyer who represented victims of discrimination, the goals and ideals of the Women's Council of Realtors resonated with me. It is truly an honor to represent an organization that serves to advance women as professionals and leaders in business, in the real estate industry, and in the communities we serve.

Being part of the Women's Council of Realtors will provide you with well-deserved recognition for your achievements and success and provide you with inspiration and courage so that you can strive to achieve even greater success.
