President Kay Carlson's Message
I am honored to be bestowed the position of your 2021 State President, but much more than that, to work with a group of talented, skilled, motivated and inspired ladies whom you elected to officer positions on the state line.
We are a cohesive board with a heart for the membership. To deliver to you, as members, the value, and benefits of this organization that you expect and deserve.
We started in 2020 to transition into our new State Model and will complete that transition by end of 2021.
In August 2020 we delivered to our President Elects the education they so well deserved to fulfill their role as Network Presidents in 2021. We added WOW Wednesday’s in September with much success.
We will continue the education process in 2021 with WOW Wednesdays again each month to assist you in delivering to your local members the leadership they well deserve.
We have carefully selected, as a board, our mandatory committee and project team, chairs, co-chairs, and members.
At our Board Retreat in November, we came together as a team to plan and organize the delivery of the New State Model, develop our Strategic Plan with Sindy Ready, understand our budget and financial process with Vicki Lind and Yvonne Ahern, and plan our calendar of events and venues for 2021.
We as a board want each one of you to consider stepping up to a leadership role in the Women’s Council. We want you to reach out to us as we reach out to you to further your journey, your leadership path, your career path. It is our mission in 2021 to develop leaders.
We are well equipped to deliver to you, our membership, the best year yet.
