What is the Women’s Council of REALTORS®?
Founded in 1938, Women's Council is a nationwide community of 13,000 real estate professionals who include many of the best and brightest in the business. The backbone of the Council is its network of more than 250 local and state networks in nearly 40 states with volunteer managers trained to position their groups as a business resource in their REALTOR® communities. The Women’s Council of REALTORS® is a vibrant community of women leaders in the real estate industry. We focus on advancing women through education and development opportunities, networking and unrivaled culture and events. Membership in the Women’s Council is highly valued by our members and the industry.

What type of Memberships does Women’s Council of REALTORS® offer?
1. REALTOR® Membership -This is the most common membership type. REALTOR® Membership holders must be a dues paying member in good standing with the National Associations of REALTORS® (NAR). 

2. National Affiliate Membership-This group of members are individuals who work in industries of real estate such as but not limited to mortgage brokers, appraisers, and title companies. National Affiliate members hold membership in their Local REALTOR® Association within the geographic territory of the Network, or if no such membership is available within the Local Association, then the individual shall hold membership within the State Association, but they may not be REALTORS®.

How do I become a member of the Women’s Council of REALTORS®?
Go to www.wcr.org and click on “Join Now” at the top right of the page, complete the online application form. You will be able to process your payment to join directly on the site. Once you have joined, you will receive a follow up email to confirm your membership.

How do I join a Network near me?
Please visit the Find a Network section at wcr.org. You can search and find networks either by name of the network or by looking up the state you reside in to view all the networks in the state.

How do I find local Women’s Council events near me?
See if the Women’s Council is the right place for you by attending a local event. Use the calendar to find out more details about any event near you. All events added by the networks are listed in the Event Calendar on wcr.org. Click on “Network Events” at the top of the page. You can then search the calendar by state, network, and month the event is held in.

How do I log in to My Women’s Council account?
Your login is the email address you used when you created your account. This is your username so you can begin there. If you are unsure what your password is you can select the Forgot Password link and you will be asked to enter your username (email registered with your account). Then after entering your username, you will receive another email with further instructions on how to reset your password. Ensure to clear your cache/browser history before resetting your password. If you had saved your previous login information your browser will always revert to your previously saved login. If you are unsure of your username or if you do not receive a reset email, reach us at wcr@wcr.org or contact us at 800-245-2955.

How do I find an invoice in my Women’s Council account?
You can find your invoice by logging in to your Women’s Council account.
-Click on “My Account”.
-Select Invoices on the left side of the page.
-Then in Invoices, you will be able to process your payment directly on the site.

How can I advance my education in business and leadership?
Women’s Council offers the premier Performance Management Network (PMN) designation, a program in business leadership designed to give you practical tools and provide you with access to a nationwide network of peers and business leaders. If you would like more information, please visit the Performance Management Network page at wcr.org. Plus, don’t miss a wide variety of opportunities for volunteer leadership in the organization and industry, in addition to webinars, industry events, and outreach partnerships.

When does my membership expire?
All memberships expire on December 31st. Women’s Council memberships are on a calendar year. When you join and become a member of the Women’s Council of REALTORS® your membership term will take you from the time you start your membership until the end of that calendar year. For example: if you joined on August 15, 2023, your membership will be valid from August 15, 2023 – December 31, 2023. Therefore, all renewal term dates will be from 1/1 – 12/31 of the next calendar year.
