President's Message

Welcome to Women’s Council of REALTORS®, Northern Nevada!

It is my honor to serve as your 2023 President. We have an exceptional 2023 Leadership Team ready to provide all of our members with true Servant Leadership. Servant leaders put other people’s needs, aspirations and interests above their own. As a servant leader, one does not force people to follow, but walks among them, and moves in a direction that can unite all in a common vision. As the new president of the Northern Nevada network, I would like to say how purposeful and fulfilling it has been stepping into this role. Women's Council started out at as an obligation, but has turned into an incredibly meaningful experience. It has enriched my work and my family life. We have an exciting year planned for 2023! We invite EVERYONE to be a part of our organization. We are striving to be a network where everyone has a seat at the table so that our organization is stronger, more inclusive and more productive.
We are happy to announce that our local membership has currently reached over 150 members!! We have a lofty, yet achievable goal of our membership in 2023. We will have many events in collaboration with other real estate and professional groups.
Thank you to all of our amazing Strategic Partners for their support in 2022! We promise to give you value in 2023 and we look forward to a wonderful and mutually prosperous year!
When considering Women's Council, my hope for all of you in 2023 is to just say YES. It may be the best business and leadership decision you will every make! 2022 was a year of transition for our network. I believe we will continue to grow and develop into the best versions of ourselves! Our hashtag for 2023 is #KeepGoingKeepGrowing, because that's exactly what we have set out to do.
I am excited to work with each of you and to bring added value to our membership.
