Message from the President

Dear Members:

It is my pleasure to serve as the 2023 President of the Englewood on the Gulf network of Women’s Council of Realtors. I follow a long line of great leaders in our network and enter this role with a solid group of colleagues to help me along the way. WCR has had a special place in my heart and a strong role in my professional development. Having a network of colleagues and peers locally, statewide, and from around the country has proven to be one of the greatest assets I’ve had to grow professionally and personally. Working shoulder-to-shoulder and learning from some of the top Agents in our community has been an amazing professional opportunity. When you are surrounded by great leaders, you learn how to become a better leader!

As a network, we have remained strong as we have endured the covid pandemic and Hurricane Ian. As another year begins, we may be faced with more unexpected challenges. As a network we will continue to persevere and support our members through the good and bad. Our board is always available to assist members through advice, mentorship, or with a strong shoulder of support.

Ralph Waldo Emerson once said, "Nothing great was ever achieved without enthusiasm.” I keep this mantra above my desk as a reminder to be enthusiastic about the work ahead. For 2023 our network is focusing on growth: personal growth, professional growth, and network growth. Through educational, inspirational, and fun events we will bond together forming lifelong relationships that will continue to help us grow our businesses for years to come.
