From the President’s Desk:

We are off to a great start for 2017! The Women’s Council Memphis has over 135 members, men and women, that includes REALTOR® members, our Strategic Partners and affiliate member. Our chapter includes members that represent the wide diversity of the Memphis area including MAAR Board of Directors Past and Present. MAAR Presidents Past and Present, TAR Presidents Past and Future, NAREB Presidents and Board Members, as well as Top Producers, Managing Brokers from both independent and franchise firms across the three counties. Our members also include the area’s top performing associated services the likes of lenders, closing agencies, home warranty firms, and other industry related services.

Our chapter has been recognized nationally for it’s membership’s participation and especially the quality of our programs. We are offering eight educational programs this year that will relate to relevant industry topics and as a member you receive a discounted access to these programs. At our social networking events you will have the opportunity to network and advance your personal and professional skills in an relaxing environment with other industry leaders and professionals.

Involvement in the community is something that The Memphis Chapter takes great pride in. Our WCRGIVESBACK program allows our members the opportunity to give back to the community that has given so much to us. Each year we select four local charities to assist with their needs. In the past we have assisted Family Domestic Violence Centers, Juvenile Recovery Programs, Animal Rescue/Shelter Centers and our Flagship the Barron’s Height Transitional Center for Homeless Veterans.

As I have said we are off to a great start for 2016. If you know someone that would benefit from being a member of Women’s Council please invite them to join you at a meeting or event. I look forward to meeting you at any of our upcoming events and would enjoy the opportunity to present to you the benefits of becoming a member of The Memphis Chapter of Women’s Council of REALTORS®.

Best Regards,

Cassandra Bell Warren 2017 President
