Description

In partnership with the Richmond Association of REALTORS®, we are celebrating Fair Housing Month with a special offering of Bias Override: Overcoming Barriers to Fair Housing.

This training helps real estate professionals interrupt stereotypical thinking so they can avoid fair housing pitfalls and provide equal professional service to every customer or client. Participants will examine the history of bias in real estate, learn about the mind science of identity, study how implicit bias can result in fair housing violations, and engage in interactive exercises to enhance communication skills and business relationships with clients of all backgrounds.

Completion of this training satisfies the NAR Triennial Fair Housing requirement.

Lunch and non-alcoholic beverages will be served during the class as well.

As part of an ongoing commitment to Fair Housing practices, the Richmond Association of REALTORS® and Women’s Council of REALTORS® Richmond are providing this training FREE of charge to members of each of these organizations.
