A Message From Our President

Welcome to Women’s Council of REALTORS® Metro South, and welcome to a new year.

Before real estate, I spent 13 years in the U.S. Navy, and if there’s one thing that service taught me, it’s that a team is only as strong as the people who show up for each other when it matters. That’s the standard I’m bringing to this council this year: not just events on a calendar, but a network where women in this industry genuinely have each other’s backs.

This year, our focus is Health, Wealth & Balance, because I believe the two can’t be separated. You can’t build a lasting business on an empty tank, and you can’t pour into your clients, your family, and your future if you never pour into yourself. You’ll see that belief show up in everything we plan this year, from our programming to the way we ask our members to show up for one another.

Women’s Council has always been more than a membership organization to me. It’s where women in real estate come to be seen, not just as agents closing deals, but as full people building businesses, families, and futures at the same time. Whether you’ve been a member for years or you’re considering joining us for the first time, my hope is that you feel that the moment you walk into a room with us.

I have big plans for Metro South this year, growing our membership, deepening our partnerships across the community, and building the kind of programming people will still be talking about well into next year. None of that happens without members who show up, invite a friend, and believe this council is worth investing in. I’m asking you to be part of that with me.
