Welcome to the Women’s Council of REALTORS® Montgomery County! I’m Sommer Hausman, your 2026 President, and I’m genuinely excited you’re here. Joining this network means you’re investing in more than business; you’re stepping into a community built on connection, growth, and showing up for each other.

Our 2026 theme is “Lifting As We Climb: Women Supporting Women in Leadership.” This is our guiding light for the year. My vision is centered on three things:

1. Real value for every member.
Expect intentional education, meaningful relationships, and resources that truly support your business and leadership journey.

2. Growing a strong, diverse community.
When our network grows, so does our collective strength. I’ll be leaning on each of you to help bring new voices, new perspectives, and future leaders into the room.

3. Developing leaders at every level.
Whether you’re brand new or a seasoned pro, there’s a place for you to grow, lead, and make an impact, without feeling overwhelmed or alone.

You’ll also see us expanding scholarships and opportunities that help open doors for those who might not otherwise have access. When we invest in each other, we all rise.

Vision Statement: The Women’s Council of REALTORS^® is recognized as the voice for women in real estate, and the premier source for the development of leaders in the industry, organized real estate and beyond.

1. Women’s Council is a dynamic, accessible and diverse network, linking each member to the tools, training and support to develop their individual leadership potential and business goals.
2. Women’s Council identifies, supports and promotes the development of strong women business leaders in the industry, organized real estate and in the broader community.
3. Women’s Council provides an influential voice and perspective for women in real estate.
4. Women’s Council’s local and state networks consistently deliver high membership value and a collaborative, welcoming environment in which members can achieve their business goals.
