About Me

I grew up in the town of Richmond in the Bay Area with my mother and sister. It was just the three of us and my mom worked hard to support our family by herself. We lived in a low-income neighborhood and attended the local school. My mom wanted better for us despite our limited circumstances, so she enrolled me in the school district next door in hopes for better opportunities and a brighter future. She may not have been able to afford us a life of luxury, but she wasn’t going to settle for mediocrity, either. This is what shaped me into who I am.
