Christian Hernandez is a bilingual business development and mortgage banking professional with nearly 20 years of experience in banking, mortgage lending, and strategic relationship development. She is a licensed Arizona Mortgage Loan Originator (NMLS #1427898) and has dedicated her career to helping individuals and families achieve sustainable homeownership while fostering meaningful partnerships throughout Arizona's housing industry.
As the Business Development Officer for the Arizona Industrial Development Authority (Arizona IDA), Christian works with mortgage lenders, REALTORS®, builders, housing organizations, and community partners across Arizona to expand awareness and utilization of Arizona IDA's affordable homeownership programs. Her role focuses on statewide outreach, industry education, strategic partnerships, and strengthening relationships that support affordable housing opportunities.
Prior to joining Arizona IDA, Christian served in mortgage leadership roles, including Vice President of Mortgage Lending, where she developed extensive expertise in residential lending, business development, and relationship management. Her lending background allows her to bridge the gap between public housing initiatives and the day-to-day needs of mortgage professionals, REALTORS®, and homebuyers.
Christian previously served as Membership Director for the NAHREP Tucson Chapter in 2020, focusing on membership growth, professional development, and industry engagement. She is also the founder of Arizona Real Estate Boss Babes, a professional networking community dedicated to empowering and connecting women throughout Arizona's real estate industry.
Christian's work and leadership have been recognized by Tucson Real Producers Magazine, Scottsdale Real Producers Magazine, HousingWire, and National Mortgage News, and Phoenix Top Agent Magazine, highlighting her commitment to innovation, leadership, and advancing homeownership.
Christian holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) with an emphasis in Business Management and a bachelor’s degree in Corporate Law. She is passionate about expanding sustainable Hispanic homeownership through education, collaboration, advocacy, and strategic partnerships.
