About Me

Fatima Pereira is a seasoned real estate professional, licensed broker, and state-approved real estate instructor with more than 22 years of experience in brokerage operations, real estate education, and professional development. She currently serves as an Associate Broker and Instructor with Long & Foster Real Estate, Inc., NextHome The Agency Group and is the Owner and Director of Next Career Real Estate School, a South Carolina–approved real estate education provider.

Ms. Pereira is licensed in Virginia, the District of Columbia, Maryland, and South Carolina, and holds the distinction of being a licensed Real Estate Instructor in both Virginia and South Carolina. Her instructional experience includes delivering pre-licensing, post-licensing, continuing education, broker supervision, legal updates, and exam preparation courses in both in-person classroom and live synchronous (virtual) formats.

Throughout her career, Ms. Pereira has held leadership and management roles, including Managing Broker for multiple high-volume sales offices, where she was responsible for agent supervision, regulatory compliance, training, and mentorship. She has designed and delivered structured training programs for new licensees, experienced agents, and brokers, with a strong emphasis on law, ethics, risk management, agency, contracts, fair housing, and compliance.

As an educator, Ms. Pereira applies adult learning principles, real-world case studies, and interactive teaching methods to ensure student engagement and comprehension in a synchronous environment. Her courses are structured with clearly defined learning objectives, instructor-led discussions, practical application exercises, and assessment components aligned with state regulatory standards and ARELLO best practices.

Ms. Pereira is an active member of the National Association of REALTORS® and several regional REALTOR® associations, and has served on professional standards, arbitration, education, and community service committees. Her commitment to ongoing professional development includes continued training in fair housing, ethics, leadership, and instructional design.

Ms. Pereira brings a high level of professionalism, regulatory knowledge, and instructional integrity to every course she teaches. Her mission as an instructor is to prepare real estate professionals to meet licensing requirements while practicing competently, ethically, and in full compliance with state and federal law.
