About Me

Gina Shumilla is the Manager of Business Development in Connecticut and Western Massachusetts at Lamacchia Realty. In this role, she supports the growth of the company in this region by guiding agents with her extensive industry knowledge, helping them leverage Lamacchia’s tools and services to build their businesses. She focuses on agent development, team support, and driving growth in the local market. Known for her strong communication skills, empathy, and team-first mindset, Gina is committed to empowering Lamacchia’s agents and delivering an exceptional client experience.

Gina was inspired by Lamacchia Realty’s innovative leadership and long-standing reputation after attending an event several years ago. Gina joined the team in 2022, drawn by its strong brand presence, marketing consistency, and agent support. She joined alongside Beth Allen-Byrd as a leader in company’s expansion to the state. She’s passionate about continuing the company’s growth in Connecticut and creating meaningful opportunities for agents.

Gina began her real estate career in 2010, drawn to the industry by its flexibility and potential. Since then, she has held multiple leadership roles and developed deep expertise in the Connecticut real estate landscape. Prior to real estate, she gained valuable customer service and leadership experience working with MLB Players Alumni and State Farm Insurance, both of which centered on helping people and excelling in team environments.

Originally from Long Island, Gina attended high school and college in Florida before settling in Connecticut in 1999. She currently resides in Cheshire, where she enjoys being an active part of the community.
