About Me

With over two decades of experience, Janie Pugh is known for delivering expert guidance, strategic negotiation, and personalized service in Charleston’s dynamic real estate market. She brings warmth, professionalism, and deep local knowledge to every transaction, helping clients navigate the process with confidence and care.

Licensed since 2005, Janie began her real estate career in Tennessee and Georgia before settling in Charleston, SC, in 2014 with Carolina One Real Estate. Her career spans all aspects of residential real estate, and she’s recognized for her integrity, attention to detail, and dedication to client success.

Janie is also a committed industry leader. She currently serves as President-Elect of the Women’s Council of REALTORS® Coastal SC, is a Sterling RPAC Major Investor, and a Class of 2024 graduate of the National Association of REALTORS® Women’s Council Leadership Institute. She is actively involved at the state level as a member of the South Carolina REALTORS® Grievance Committee and the SCR Women’s Conference Planning Task Force, advocating for professionalism and growth within the industry.

Her commitment to continuous learning and excellence is reflected in the many credentials she holds, including: Accredited Buyer Representative (ABR), At Home With Diversity (AHWD), Certified International Property Specialist (CIPS), Certified Residential Specialist (CRS), Commitment to Excellence (C2EX), ePRO, Graduate Realtor Institute (GRI), Military Relocation Professional (MRP), Performance Management Network (PMN), and Real Estate Negotiation Expert (RENE).

In addition to her real estate work, Janie is a dual-certified Health and Life Coach, trained through the Health Coaching Institute. Her background in public health and her coaching certification allow her to help others find meaningful balance between career, wellness, and personal growth.

A graduate of the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, with a degree in Public Health Education, Janie brings a holistic, heart-centered approach to both life and business. She’s built her reputation on service, trust, and a genuine desire to help others thrive—whether in their homes, their health, or their goals.
