About Me

Katherine Figueroa is the 2025 Founding President and 2026 President of the Women’s Council of REALTORS® Greater Puerto Rico, proudly leading the first Women’s Council network established in Puerto Rico and the Caribbean Region.

Katherine is a multilingual REALTOR® and Licensed Real Estate Broker since 1994, serving both Florida and Puerto Rico with over 32 years of proven experience guiding home sellers and buyers through every step of the real estate process.

She specializes in luxury homes, waterfront properties, golf course communities, resort and second-home properties, investment real estate, relocation services and new construction.

In Central Florida, Katherine serves the highly desirable theme park and resort markets including Orlando, Windermere, Winter Garden, Horizon West, Clermont, Davenport, Celebration, Reunion, ChampionsGate, Kissimmee, Four Corners, and surrounding communities throughout Orange, Osceola, Polk, and Lake Counties near Walt Disney World® Resort and Universal Orlando Resort. In Puerto Rico, she proudly serves clients throughout the entire island.

Katherine speaks Spanish, English, and Portuguese, and has built strong referral relationships with REALTORS® nationwide and internationally, creating a seamless experience for local, national, and global clientele seeking trusted representation in Florida and Puerto Rico.

Katherine is also a licensed real estate instructor in Puerto Rico, dedicated to education, mentorship, and professional development within the real estate industry.

Inside the REALTORS® organization, Katherine holds numerous nationally recognized designations and certifications including ABR, AHWD, C2EX, CIPS, CRB, CRS, e-PRO, GRI, LHC, MRP, RSPS, SFR, SRS, and TRC.

Throughout her distinguished career, Katherine has served in influential leadership positions at the local, state, and national levels of the REALTOR® organization.

Her leadership roles include serving as:

• 2009 Chair – NAR Small State Forum

• 2023 Graduated of Florida’s National Director Mentoring Program

Katherine also served on multiple state and national REALTOR® committees, including the National Association of REALTORS® Consumer Communications Committee, NAR Member Communications Committee, Florida REALTORS® Communications Committee, Strategic Planning Committee, Board Leadership Forum, and Global Business Committee, among multiple standing committees at the local, state, and national levels.

From 2007 through 2011, Katherine was appointed by the Governor of Puerto Rico and served as a Commissioner and regulator on the Puerto Rico Real Estate Commission, helping strengthen consumer protection, professional standards, and industry governance.

Her awards and recognitions include the 2006 Presidential Award by the Puerto Rico Association of REALTORS®, the 2006 Zenit Award by the Puerto Rico Chamber of Commerce, and a 2022 Proclamation by the Florida Department of Business and Professional Regulation recognizing Katherine for her years of service and dedication to the real estate industry. Katherine has also been recognized as a Watson Realty Corp. Top Producer Award recipient for several years.
