Katie Wells is an experienced Mortgage Loan Officer with The Wood Group of Fairway, proudly serving Abilene and the Big Country. With a strong background in education, Katie brings a unique, client-centered approach to mortgage lending. Over the past several years, she has built a reputation for excellence by guiding homebuyers through the loan process with clarity, compassion, and efficiency.

Katie specializes in VA loans and is highly skilled in creative problem-solving—often finding solutions where others see roadblocks to help her clients make it to the closing table with confidence.

She is actively involved in her community through the Women’s Council of REALTORS®, the Abilene Association of REALTORS® (AAOR), Camp Able, and Wood Group Gives. Katie is committed not only to helping families find homeownership solutions but also to giving back and supporting the people and organizations that make the Big Country a place to call home.
