About Me

With over two decades of experience in real estate, entrepreneurship, and investment, Kerissa Payne has built a reputation as an innovative leader. She became a licensed REALTOR® in her 20s, earned her broker’s license by 31, and built The Kerissa Payne Team into one of East Texas' top-performing real estate groups.




Over her 17+ year career in East Texas, she owned and operated a brokerage for five years before selling her office. In 2012, she became a franchise owner of a national real estate chain, leading her team to sell over 1,100 homes and earn recognition among the Top 500 Teams in Texas, Top 250 in the state, and Top 20 in the Vanguard Council. Her success is marked by multiple accolades, including the Executive Club, 100% Club, and Platinum Club Awards, as well as induction into the prestigious Hall of Fame.




Beyond traditional real estate, Kerissa has been involved in a real estate tech startup and various business ventures across industries such as oil & gas, retail, and health products. She has successfully flipped, managed, and invested in multiple properties, including Airbnb rentals.




Her most recent venture involved partnering with a private equity firm to analyze luxury Airbnb properties across five states. She led acquisitions, coordinated high-end remodels tailored to the top 10% of performing Airbnb properties, and collaborated with one of the top Airbnb designers in the U.S.




Now based in North Dallas, Kerissa applies her extensive knowledge of East Texas and the Dallas-Fort Worth (DFW) market to serve a diverse range of clients. Her passion for real estate, innovation, and business growth continues to drive her success.
