About Me

Michelle Walker is the Broker/Owner of STL Buy & Sell, REALTORS® and has more than 22 years of experience in the real estate industry. A longtime REALTOR® leader, national instructor, and advocate, Michelle has dedicated much of her career to strengthening the real estate profession, advancing housing for all, and developing the next generation of industry leaders.

Michelle has served in leadership roles at the local, state, and national levels, including on the National Association of REALTORS® Board of Directors and as Chair of NAR’s Diversity Committee. Her extensive industry service includes work in housing opportunity, professional standards, MLS governance, community engagement, and REALTOR® advocacy. She is also a graduate of both the NAR Leadership Academy and Missouri REALTORS® Leadership Academy.

Women’s Council of REALTORS® has played an important role in Michelle’s leadership journey. A longtime Women’s Council member and Past President, she is also a graduate of the 2019 Women’s Council National Leadership Institute and has been recognized for her leadership and service throughout her career.

As a national real estate instructor, Michelle teaches courses on Code of Ethics, implicit bias, diversity, and other topics that challenge REALTORS® to grow both professionally and personally. She has worked throughout her career to expand housing opportunity and strengthen communities.

Michelle is a U.S. Navy veteran and holds a Master of Real Estate degree. Her professional designations and certifications include CIPS, CRS, GRI, PMN, AHWD, e-PRO®, PSA, and C2EX.

Whether she is leading a brokerage, teaching a classroom, serving the REALTOR® organization, or mentoring another real estate professional, Michelle believes leadership is ultimately about creating opportunities for others and leaving the industry better than you found it.
