About Me

While working full time at Ft. Huachuca, Nancy qualified and hung her real estate license with Mountain Vista Realty, Inc/Better Home and Garden as a part-time agent in January 1983. In May of 1985 she decided to sell real estate full time. In addition to earning a living, Nancy’s goal was to become an expert in her new profession. Nancy obtained her broker’s license that year and earned the Graduate Residential Institute (GRI) designation the following year.
Sine 1985, she has continued to expand her real estate knowledge and expertise, taking significantly more than the 25 hours of classes required for license renewal. She has earned rewards for Residential Marketing Master Designation (RMM), Sierra Vista Area Association of REALTORS “REALTOR of the Year”, Certified Residential Specialist (CRS), Star Program Overall Top Producer in Listings and Sells.
In 1989, she hired an assistant to take care of office details, that assistant is now Deb Haines. Deb helps in all REALTOR tasks as well as office details. Nancy and Deb strive to provide every client with superior personal service. Nancy is grateful her sales productions have continued to increase each year, making Nancy one of the top agents in sells in the company.
In 1994, after eleven successful years with another company, Nancy moved to Arizona HomeStores, dba, RE/MAX HomeStores, LLC. With RE/MAX Nancy earned the President’s Club, 100% Club, Platinum Club, the coveted Hall of Fame, and The Lifetime Achievement Award for helping over 1,000 families meet their real estate needs, all from RE/MAX International. In March of 2022, the RE/MAX Franchise was released, and the company was rebranded ARIZONA HomeStores.
Nancy is a member of the West & Southeast REALTORS® of the Valley Association, the Arizona Association of REALTORS®, and the National Association of REALTORS®. She has chaired the Bylaws, REALTOR® of the Year, Professional Standards Committees and served as Director, Vice President, President-Elect, and President of the Southeast Association of REALTORS®. At the state association level, she serves on the Grievance and Professional Standards Committees.
Contributing to the community through volunteer work is important to Nancy. She is a member of and has served on several boards and committees for the following organizations: St. Stephen’s Episcopal Church, Ft. Huachuca Officer and Civilian Wives Club, American Businesswomen’s Association, Ft. Huachuca 50, The Retired Officers Association, and the Greater Huachuca Affordable Housing Alliance.
Nancy enjoyed 21 years as an Army wife. She has two children, Burt (wife Ann, daughters Taylor and Madeline and son Sam) who live in New Jersey and Robin (single) lives in San Antonio, TX. Nancy is the widow of LTC Billy C. Rea, an honoree of the USA Military Intelligence Hall of Fame. Her hobbies are reading, movies, white water rafting the Colorado River through the Grand Canyon (three trips so far!); travelling (14 different countries), theater, church and making friends. She has an Associate of Arts degree from Cochise College and is a Certified Bowen Technician.
Nancy’s future plans are to continue as a real estate professional, providing her clients with the expertise they deserve when it comes time to trusting a REALTOR® with their most expensive possession or purchase of their home.
