Rachel Wesp is a former Placer County District Attorney’s Office Victim Advocate who specializes in supporting survivors of child sexual abuse, Human Trafficking, and stalking. Rachel served on the Sexual Assault Response Team (SART)- a multidisciplinary team that works collaboratively to make system-wide improvements in response to sexual violence.
Before her time at the District Attorney’s Office, Rachel advocated for the medical and legal rights of sexual assault victims with Growing Strong Sexual Assault Center. Rachel was also a member of Illinois Imagines, a statewide project to improve services to women with disabilities who have been victims of sexual violence.
Today, Rachel is President-Elect of the Women’s Council of Realtors, a network of realtors advancing women as business leaders in the industry and the communities they serve. Rachel is SRES certified and specializes in supporting Senior Citizens as they navigate their next chapters in life. She is the Vice President of the Tommy Apostolos Fund, a non-profit that provides winter coats and shoes to over 500 children in our community and spends her free time volunteering with CASA, providing support to children and their families who are navigating the juvenile justice system - ensuring their voices are heard. Rachel is also excited to continue her advocacy with the Placer Justice Foundation.
