About Me

Shannon Nelson, shaped by a military upbringing, discovered her passion for real estate playing on construction sites as a child and helping her aunt fix up investment properties during summers. A Raleigh local since 1996, Shannon has watched the area grow firsthand from a small town to a thriving metro. Shannon believes there is no greater honor than walking alongside others in their real estate journey - helping clients with the largest financial investment of their lives while simultaneously helping them find Home.
Beyond her client-focused work, Shannon actively advocates across the state for Workforce Housing and Personal Property Rights. She also shares her decades years of real estate knowledge with her peers, serving as the President of the Women's Council of Realtors Greater Triangle Network in 2016 and 2024, and Governor in 2018. In these roles, she advocates for ethical and inclusive real estate practices while staying deeply involved in the ever-evolving landscape of real estate legislation. Shannon's unique blend of experience, passion for real estate, and dedication to service has made her a trusted advisor in the Raleigh community and across the nation.
Shannon is the proud mother of two boys and two bonus kids who are the absolute light of her life. When she's not helping clients find home or coaching award winning agents, you can find her at the beach with her black lab, Finley, or cooking with her husband, Greg.
