About Me

Born in San Antonio and raised in Alice, Texas, Sommer Hausman grew up surrounded by close-knit community values that continue to shape her approach to real estate today. As an Army wife, she spent many years moving across the country before settling in The Woodlands 13 years ago, where she and her family have planted deep roots. Having experienced frequent relocations firsthand, Sommer understands the complexities of moving, adapting, and creating a true sense of home, insight that allows her to guide her clients with empathy, patience, and expertise.

Calm under pressure and highly detail oriented, Sommer brings both strategy and heart to every transaction. She treats every client like family, offering honest guidance and thoughtful perspective, even when it is not the easiest or most convenient path. Her background in Communication Sciences and Disorders, where she worked with Deaf and Hard of Hearing children, strengthened her skills in clear communication, problem solving, and connection, all essential in helping clients make informed, confident decisions.

As a former volunteer leader for a diverse Army community, Sommer learned how to bring people together and navigate challenges with grace and understanding, qualities that now define her professional approach.

A licensed Broker and President of the Women’s Council of Realtors, Montgomery County, Sommer is dedicated to raising the bar in her profession and giving back to her community.

Outside of real estate, she enjoys staying active, baking sourdough, traveling the world, and spending time with her family, often with a good glass of wine in hand. She finds joy and purpose in the relationships she builds and the community she is proud to call home.
