I am a seasoned real estate professional and aspiring architect with over 20 years of technical and design experience. Originally from New York and now based in the Rio Grande Valley (RGV) with my family, I began my academic journey early, entering higher education at age 15 and graduating with honors from Seattle Community College with an Associate of Arts by 17. I then earned dual four-year degrees in Architecture and Construction Management from The Ohio State University’s College of Engineering, completing both in under four years with exceptional focus and determination. While at Ohio State, I demonstrated strong leadership as Vice President of the American Institute of Architecture Students (AIAS), President of Alpha Mu engineering honorary, and President/ Founder of the United Nations Student Alliance. Influenced by my Korean-Italian heritage, I brought a deep commitment to diversity and global awareness to these roles, shaping my perspective as a collaborative and forward-thinking professional. I also earned several designations and won numerous design awards and competitions.
My career began with a significant internship at American Electric Power (AEP), where I contributed to industrial project management on a coal-burning power plant. I later managed multimillion-dollar projects for federal agencies in the commercial sector, building a solid foundation in project oversight. Transitioning to residential real estate, I spent over a decade as a REALTOR in the Dallas/Fort Worth area before relocating to the RGV, where I led a brokerage of over 40 agents and later founded Venture Real Estate. As a licensed mortgage loan originator, I have supported clients and investors through every phase of property acquisition, deepening my expertise in development processes.
Currently, as broker/owner of Venture Real Estate, I lead my team while serving as President Elect for the Women’s Council of REALTORS®, volunteering with the National Association of Hispanic Real Estate Professionals (NAHREP), and advising "She Is," an organization supporting women in construction. My extensive background in real estate, paired with my passion for architecture, positions me for my next chapter.
