About Me

Born and raised in South Texas, Vanessa Odewumi carries with her a deep appreciation for family, faith, and service. She is a graduate of University of Texas at Austin and earned her law degree from Texas Tech University building a strong foundation in advocacy, discipline, and integrity.

After practicing law, Vanessa made the intentional decision to step away from her legal career to focus on her family and help grow their family-owned real estate business, Uprise Real Estate Partners. While her husband leads the brokerage, Vanessa oversees operations and client experience—ensuring that every detail reflects the heart and standards of their mission.

Vanessa began her real estate journey behind the scenes as a transaction coordinator and agent supervisor, where she developed and refined an elevated, repeatable client experience. She earned her real estate license so she could serve clients directly and model the level of care, communication, and excellence she expects across the brokerage.

At the core of Vanessa’s work is a simple commitment: education, guidance, and peace of mind. She believes that informed clients make confident decisions, and that real estate—one of life’s biggest financial and emotional milestones—doesn’t have to be stressful when handled with clarity, honor, and stewardship.
