Empower Women in Real Estate with the Supporting Women of Real Estate Grant!

Dear Women’s Council Leaders,

I’m thrilled to share an exciting opportunity that has arisen for our organization to make a significant impact in the real estate industry. As the 2024 National President of Women’s Council of REALTORS®, I urge you to join me in championing women’s advancement by encouraging your local REALTOR® boards to apply for the Supporting Women of Real Estate Grant. This grant, offered through a strategic partnership between the National Association of REALTORS® (NAR) and Women’s Council of REALTORS®, is funded by The Center for REALTOR® Development (CRD). CRD is a division of NAR, devoted to lifelong learning, career advancement, and specialized credentials for real estate professionals.

The Supporting Women of Real Estate Grant presents a unique chance for local and state REALTOR® associations to receive funding for innovative programs focused on advancing women in real estate. The goal is simple yet powerful: to inspire women professionals to embrace leadership roles within both their businesses and the organized real estate community.

Here’s why this opportunity is truly exceptional:

  • Funding for Innovation: The grant provides financial support to develop new and impactful programs that promote women’s leadership in real estate.
  • Strategic Collaboration: By partnering with local Women’s Council networks, REALTOR® associations can enhance the reach and effectiveness of their initiatives, fostering stronger relationships within the real estate community.
  • Empowering Women: Through educational programs and networking activities, grant recipients will empower women to excel in key areas such as negotiations, team effectiveness, marketing, and technology.

Key Details and Deadlines:

  • Application Period: March 1, 2024 – June 14, 2024
  • Grant Amount: Five grants of $2,000 each
  • Event Completion Deadline: December 15, 2024

Criteria for Grant Proposal:

To qualify for the grant, proposals must include:

  • A comprehensive program that educates and empowers women in real estate.
  • Collaboration with local Women’s Council networks or other real estate organizations is encouraged.
  • Clear goals and a detailed program concept, including networking activities and measurable outcomes.

How You Can Help:

  • Encourage your local REALTOR® associations to apply for the grant.
  • Offer to collaborate on program development to showcase the synergy between Women’s Council and REALTOR® associations.
  • Spread the word and rally support for initiatives that promote women’s leadership in real estate.
