When 37 visionary women from nine states founded Women’s Council of REALTORS® in 1938, they weren’t simply creating an organization. They were investing in the future of our profession. They believed in developing leaders, nurturing relationships, and creating opportunities for future generations.

A Message from Our President

One of the greatest lessons I’ve learned through Women’s Council is that leadership isn’t about standing in front of people. It’s about standing beside them.

Serving as your 2026 Local President has reinforced what makes this organization so special. Every conversation, every shared experience, and every opportunity to serve has reminded me that Women’s Council is built on people who encourage one another, share their knowledge, open doors, and celebrate each other’s success.

Women’s Council has shown me that one connection truly can change everything. The relationships I’ve built have become trusted referral partners, mentors, collaborators, and lifelong friends. More importantly, they’ve challenged me to grow, inspired me to lead, and reminded me that the greatest impact we can make is by investing in others.

My hope is that every member experiences that same sense of connection and purpose. Whether you’re attending your first event, becoming involved in a committee, joining as a REALTOR® Affiliate, or stepping into leadership, know that you belong here.

If there’s one thing I hope our members take away from Women’s Council, it’s this: Lead with grit and grace.
