About Me

Brian Phillips is the 🏆2025 Residential Agent of the Year awarded by the Real Estate Board of New York (REBNY) 🏙️, recognized for his leadership, professionalism, and community impact. With nearly 30 years as a licensed broker and 18 years at Douglas Elliman, Brian delivers strategic guidance backed by experience, results, and deep market insight. Licensed in two Manhattan offices and the Riverdale/Bronx office, he provides wide-ranging coverage across New York City.

As a member of both the REBNY Residential Listing Service (RLS) and the Hudson Gateway Association of REALTORS® (HGAR) via OneKey MLS, Brian gives clients unmatched access to market data. RLS provides deep insight into Manhattan and downtown Brooklyn, while OneKey—the largest MLS in New York—covers Queens, Brooklyn, the Bronx, Long Island, and the Hudson Valley. At HGAR, he contributes to Fair Housing, Professional Standards, Legislative, Commercial Investment Division (CID), Global, DEI, and RPAC committees, making him a valued referral partner across boroughs and counties.

At the New York State Association of REALTORS® (NYSAR), he serves as a Board Director and previously led as Chair of the NYC Issues Working Group and Finance Leader for RRC. He also contributes to NYSAR’s Legislative Steering Committee, advocating for policies that protect property rights and empower agents.

Brian holds over a dozen designations and certifications from the National Association of REALTORS®, including Certified Residential Specialist (CRS), Certified International Property Specialist (CIPS), and Accredited Buyer’s Representative (ABR).

He is a REALTORS® Political Action Committee (RPAC) Major Investor, and a member of professional groups including WCR, NAREB, NAHREP, AREAA, FIABCI-USA, NAGLREP, and CREA, reflecting his global reach and inclusive values.

Brian serves on the YMCA’s Black Achievers in Industry (BAI) steering committee and is a proud Freemason. Outside of real estate, he enjoys biking, tennis, family time, and community involvement.
