About Me

Karen Polanco is a distinguished real estate professional and industry leader with more than 14 years of experience, having served as a REALTOR® since 2011. She has built a successful career as a listing agent working with multiple new-home builders and currently represents a fully custom luxury homebuilder, Deal 2 Deal. Karen specializes in luxury real estate in El Paso, Texas, and is also a licensed REALTOR® in New Mexico, serving Southern New Mexico, Las Cruces, and Ruidoso—a premier mountain vacation community where she also spends much of her personal time.

Her career is defined by leadership, service, and advocacy at both the local and state levels. From 2019 to 2023, Karen served on the Board of Directors for the Greater El Paso Association of REALTORS® (GEPAR), advancing initiatives that support REALTORS® and protect property rights. In 2022, she served as TREPAC Chair, leading critical efforts to secure political advocacy funding for the real estate industry. She has been a major investor for over five years, demonstrating her long-standing commitment to protecting homeownership and the REALTOR® profession.

Karen has also established an exceptional leadership record within the Women’s Council of REALTORS®. She served as President of the El Paso del Norte Network in 2023, advanced to Texas District Vice President in 2024, served as the 2025 Texas State Treasurer, and is currently serving as the 2026 President-Elect for the State of Texas, continuing her dedication to leadership development and industry advocacy statewide. She is also a Women’s Council PMN designee, reflecting her commitment to performance, mastery, and professional excellence.

A graduate of the Texas REALTORS® Leadership Program (TRLP) Class of 2018, Karen will proudly serve as the 2026 El Paso del Norte TRLP Facilitator, an honor she holds with great pride as she mentors and develops the next generation of real estate leaders.

In addition, Karen is a Certified International Property Specialist (CIPS) and served as the 2025 Global Chair for the El Paso del Norte, leading the committee to earn an NAR Global Award for being a fully aligned and high-performing global committee in 2025.

Beyond her professional achievements, Karen is the proud and humble mother of her beautiful daughter in heaven, Kaitlyn Polanco, whose legacy continues to inspire her work and leadership, and of her son, Aiden Zepeda, who is preparing to graduate from high school.
