When we talk about stepping into leadership it’s easy to look at titles and roles. However – we are all leaders in so many more ways than just specified positions. We are leaders in our businesses, our communities, our households and in every interaction that we have throughout our daily lives. In talking about leadership – each of the women who has stepped onto our 2026 board approaches it differently and wants to grow in their own unique way.

We have different perspectives that not only represent us but represent our membership and future members. Women’s Council was born out of the idea of elevating women into roles from within the local association up through national NAR positions. This extends into community roles on city council, planning commission and sports organizations. While we may not all have the same trajectory or goals – we can always support one another on the journey. Together we can challenge each other to think differently or step into something that feels uncomfortable. We can be a sounding board without judgement for trying new business ideas and place to get a pep talk when things don’t go as planned and it’s time to pivot to a new strategy.

This year with Women’s Council Gold Country, we are committed to being the tribe that supports as we grow together – and we want you to be a part of that tribe.

In 2026 we will be bringing you new ways to connect! Our newly launched book club fosters close connect through conversation and exploration of business related topics. Our industry events will bring impact and growth to your business through speakers & workshops. Together, we will be hitting the town to support and collaborate on community events.
