The New Member Nudge kicks off next week and we encourage all of our leaders to get the details on our website. Look for a New Member Nudge promo email to leaders next week with canva image templates to be shared on social media and used for recruiting efforts. We will be recognizing the top networks that obtain new members at an exclusive reception in the President’s Suite in Orlando.

2022 President-Elects: Sign Affiliation Agreement Today

Each year, local & state network presidents are asked to sign an affiliation agreement, and it’s a certification benchmark. The agreement remains similar to years past, with language this year added on adhering to the Women’s Council privacy policy.

Network Certification Application Process is Open

The network certification process is now open! Women’s Council Network certification recognizes and rewards the most active local and state networks that achieve five key benchmarks of network excellence and exceeds basic charter requirements per its national affiliation and provides outstanding member service.

You may now apply to become a 2022/23 Certified Network. Networks have until late September to submit their applications.

Questions about the process? Contact Jackie Flores, jflores@wcr.org.

When Does the 2023 Leadership Team Officially Take Office?

We know that in the next few months local and state networks will begin to hold their installations of the 2023 Leadership Teams. We've been asked several times when do the 2023 Leaders officially take office?

The 2023 Leadership Teams begin holding their office on the day after the NAR Annual Convention is concluded. This year our Women's Council 2023 officers & team begin to hold office on 11/15/2022 and will conclude in November 2023.

This is listed in both the Women's Council State & Local Bylaws Article I, Section 3.

State Credentialing and Election Policy Reminders

States should be using the Job Descriptions (found in the Network Glossary) when credentialing teams are meeting. The full State Credentialing & Election Policy is also available as a reminder.

President-elect, First Vice President, Treasurer and District Vice Presidents (if applicable) must be elected by September 30th and reported to National by the outgoing First Vice President.

Billhighway Resources

Considering a Dues Increase in 2023?  Follow the Process

National must be formally advised by September 30 for the subsequent year on new dues amounts along with supporting documentation. This form must be filled out and can also be found in the online network glossary.
