Founding President’s Message
Dear Members, Future Members, and Strategic Partners,
It is with great pride and deep commitment that I welcome you to the Women’s Council of REALTORS® Greater Puerto Rico. As the Founding President of this historic network , the first Women’s Council of REALTORS® network established in Puerto Rico and throughout the Caribbean, it is an honor to stand with you at the beginning of a transformative chapter for leadership development in real estate.
The chartering of the Greater Puerto Rico Network represents an important milestone in the continued growth of the Women’s Council of REALTORS®, expanding the organization’s mission to empower and connect real estate professionals through leadership, education, and collaboration.
Founded in 1938, the Women’s Council of REALTORS® is an affiliate organization of the National Association of REALTORS®. Today, the Council is composed of more than 250 local networks and over 10,000 members across the United States, forming one of the most respected leadership organizations within the real estate industry.
The establishment of the Greater Puerto Rico Network places Puerto Rico firmly on the national leadership map of the Women’s Council, expanding opportunities for professional growth, collaboration, and influence within the broader REALTOR® community.
Our network serves as a bridge between local excellence and national opportunity, connecting Puerto Rico to the powerful Women’s Council ecosystem across the United States and beyond.

Our Four Pillars
The Women’s Council of REALTORS® Greater Puerto Rico is grounded in four core pillars:

As a professional leadership organization, the Women’s Council seeks to prepare its members for leadership positions at the local, state, and national levels within the National Association of REALTORS®, while actively encouraging involvement in these leadership pathways.
Leadership Education and Professional Development
Business leadership education remains a central purpose of the Council.
The Performance Management Network (PMN) is a premier REALTOR® business leadership designation and the exclusive professional designation of the Women’s Council of REALTORS®.
The PMN program provides members with practical tools and access to a nationwide network of top real estate professionals.
PMN courses focus on key areas such as:
• Leadership development
• Negotiation strategies
• Networking and referral building
• Business planning and growth strategies
These programs are designed to help real estate professionals remain competitive and adaptable in any market.
In addition, newsletters such as Council Corner, along with the Council’s digital platforms and social media channels, provide continuous opportunities for leadership development and professional growth for members throughout the year.
While many professional organizations offer Leadership Institutes and Academies, the Women’s Council of REALTORS® more than 88-year track record of developing leaders is widely considered the gold standard within the real estate industry.
The Women’s Council Leadership Institute develops leaders who have demonstrated leadership potential through their local and state networks, with the goal of building a national community of industry experts who actively contribute to strengthening and advancing the Council.
Through this proven leadership pathway, members are prepared not only to serve within the Women’s Council network but also to assume leadership roles throughout the broader REALTOR® family and the real estate profession.

At the foundation of the Women’s Council throughout its more than 88-year history are business opportunities for its members.
The Council’s Member Finder platform allows members to connect nationally through comprehensive professional profiles that include biography, leadership experience, integration with member listings, and an online referral system designed to facilitate trusted business relationships.
The results clearly demonstrate the business value of the network:
• The average commission income from Council member-to-member referrals is approximately $15,000
• 54% of members refer business to one another annually
In recent Council surveys, the number one reason cited for referring business to another Women’s Council member is simple:

National Leadership Engagement
In 2026, I am honored to represent Puerto Rico at the national level while serving as Women’s Council of REALTORS® National Conference Ambassador, supporting engagement and participation in the Council’s national meetings.
The Council’s two flagship national meetings are held in conjunction with the National Association of REALTORS® conferences:
• The NAR Annual Meeting, hosted in a different city each year
• The Midyear Legislative Meetings, held in Washington, DC each May
These national gatherings provide invaluable opportunities for leadership development, policy engagement, and relationship building across the REALTOR® community.
